Secureguard Security Services Co-operative Limited was set up in 1999 and is owned by Telecoms Credit Co-operative Limited, one of the largest thrift and loan co-operative in Singapore with over 28,000 members.

The Executive Vice Chairman was a former Senior Police Officer with 36 years of service in the Singapore Police Force with extensive experience in the security industry for many years. He founded Premier Security, one of the biggest security agencies in Singapore today.

Heading the Operations of the Co-operative is Maj (Ret) Tang Seng Koong who has served in the Singapore Armed Forces for 23 years in various appointments. After retiring from the service, he joined the then Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (now known as MediaCorp) as their Security Manager. He was involved in upgrading the security of the various installations in the company and their security personnel. He left after 10 years of services and joined another Security Service Company as its Operations and Administrative Manager. He joined Secureguard Security Services Co-operative Limited with effect from 1st May 2004 heading two Area Managers.

The Area Managers possess vast experience in the field of security as they were former police officers and had served in various organizations such as CISCO and Suntec City.
